North Alabama Korean School(NAKS) IS, non-profit organization, established in 1992 and located in Huntsville Alabama. We provide education program of Korean language/culture/history to 2nd generation of Korean immigrants and even to anyone in the community who is willing to learn Korean language and culture.
We operate through donations and supported by Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, local companies,
Korean organizations and individuals.
This class is designed to help students further develop basic Korean language skills. It covers the grammar and vocabulary necessary for everyday conversation, such as asking permission, giving advice, and expressing desires.
Intermediate Course
This class is designed to help students further develop basic Korean language skills. It covers the grammar and vocabulary necessary for everyday conversation, such as asking permission, giving advice, and expressing desires.
Advanced Course
This class aims to promote the active use of Korean in formal speaking as well as reading and writing tasks relating to work, school, problem solving, and public life. Upon completion of this course, students are expected to acquire and use more vocabulary, expressions, and a variety of sentence patterns.
Beginner Course
This class for beginners is designed to teach the Korean alphabet, basic grammar, and basic conversation skills.
There is an adult beginners class and a children's beginner class.
Curriculum
Korean language, tradition, culture and etiquette, history, Korean Thanksgiving, writing, presentation, New year(foods and activity and games), picnic, story telling, music, dance, calligraphy, paper art, Taekwondo, etc.,
We offer classes for beginner, intermediate through advanced level including non Korean background individuals.
Classes for 4years old above including adults.
